i just recently bought a goldwing 1100 that was froze up i took it all apart got it unfrozen and now i am in the process of putting the heads back on but i am not for sure does the bike need to be in time to put the belts back on any answers would be helpfull thanks

The short answer is yes. Review your manual to determine the correct position of the cam pulleys and crankshaft. Shop talk also has a couple of guides. Oh, and please introduce yourself over on the introductions forum...
